Club Coordinator
Pam was born in Wales and became interested in the game of tennis
at the age of nine. She learned to play on the grass courts of
England! Pam came to the United States over 30 years ago and became
very involved in the tennis business when she met and married a
local tennis professional, the late Noel Shields.
Pam has been with the tennis club since it originated in 1979,
performing a multitude of duties. Her recognizable British
accent, her genuine personality, and her love for the sport of tennis
have made her a valuable and vital part of the club's existence for
over 23 years. Pam is responsible for arranging tennis games year round.
She has knowledge of each and every member’s playing ability which enables her to match
players according to their skill level. This assures the players get
the most out of their time in the court.

As General Manager of WHB Tennis and Sport, Scott combines his club duties with his love of teaching and coaching tennis. Scott managed the Armonk Tennis Club and the now Trump National Golf Club back in the 1990's before coming to WHB Tennis and Sport. Scott's involvement with the USTA now and in past has helped many adults and juniors work
to better their tennis with sectional
tournaments and Zonal competitions. Come to the club anytime and you can find Scott actively participating in some tennis activity
with his members. A former sectionally and nationally ranked player, Scott finished with a #5 doubles ranking and a top #50 national singles ranking in 1992.
Scott now lives in East Quoque with his wife Marquerite and his three children, Taylor, Allison and Bryan. |
